All members are encouraged to bring guests to meetings with a view to introducing them to Rotary and our club. Rotary is not
for everyone. Potential members may alter their opinion after becoming familiar with the commitment required, the goals of
Rotary and the direction of the Rotary Club of Avalon Northeast. This procedure is designed to avoid misunderstanding
and facilitate the process.

The following are the recommended steps:

A member invites a guest to a regular meeting.

The guest will attend three regular meetings.

The guest will attend a "fireside chat" to get a better understanding of what is being asked of them. These fireside chats
are held on a regular basis with guests and interested club members.

If, after the three meetings and the fireside chat, the guest maintains an interest in joining Rotary, they will complete an
application form as supplied by Rotary International.

The club executive will address any objections.

The approved application will be submitted to Rotary International.

An induction ceremony will be held at the first regular meeting following receipt of new members pin and badge.

If you do not know a Rotarian in the Avalon Northeast Club, contact our Secretary and a Club member will contact you and invite
you to a regular meeting.
